• Florence is a big city. There are many ideal locations across the city and on the outskirts. Whilst our Villa is not located in the city centre, it’s very close so it’s convenient to get to.

  • European Formal

For the boys, think suit jackets and pants – a tie is not essential.

For the ladies, think dresses and heels (no white).

  • Getting to Florence

You’ll likely fly into either Florence Airport (FLR) or Pisa International airport (PSA). Florence is also well-connected by train to its main station.

    During your stay

Many hotels in Florence offer shuttle services for their guests – it’s always a good idea to inquire when you check in.

If you’re planning to explore beyond the city centre and considering a rental car, we recommend booking ahead and checking that your accommodation has parking.

Taxis are available at designated stands, and Florence has a reliable public transport system.

Wedding Day Transport to/from Villa Le Fontanelle

    To the Villa:
For the ceremony and reception, we kindly ask that you arrange your own transport to Villa Le Fontanelle. Please factor in travel time if taking a taxi.

    Back to Florence:
Don’t worry about the return journey! We’ve organised buses to take you all back to Florence city centre from the Villa, departing at 11.30pm and 1.30am.

    Large Villa Groups:
If you’re sharing a villa with a larger group, please let us know, and we’d be happy to arrange one of the buses to take you back to your villa.

Recovery Day Transport to/from Villa Le Fontanelle
